The Fire Department is responsible for preventing, controlling, and extinguishing fires as well as handling calls to emergency services.
There are currently 2 fire stations in Belmont. The headquarters and Fire Prevention Bureau are located at 299 Trapelo Road. The other fire station is located at 99 Leonard Street in Belmont Center.
